Health Office

May 13, 2019

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The 2018-2019 school year is almost over for most of us. As the long summer stretches before us, and your children are "bored" have them keep up on reading, writing and math skills. Bring them to the library or book store for new ideas or books. Have them play online games that challenge their memory or math skills. Learning can be fun! Try to keep to a regular schedule for getting up in the morning and going to bed at night. This will help train their bodies for school in the fall, and later in life for employment.
I have added every form (I think) that you may need for your student's health conditions or needs in the fall. Please feel free to download them and fill them out. You can send them as an attachment in an email, or print them to send in next fall. I have also added the updated vaccination schedules for 2019-20. If your student receives new doctor's orders during the summer, please get a copy for the school if it will affect their needs during the school year.
The Platte Valley Health Office staff is here to assist you and your student with any health needs they may have. Please call the school nurse, Amber Guillot at 970-336-8525 with any questions or concerns. I will be at school until May 31, 2019, and return August 1, 2019. Have an amazing and fun summer break!
